Mike - my boyfriend and I made this several months ago, and froze the last bit. We thawed it this week, and I forgot how delicious this soup is!!! I made mine with vegetarian soy chorizo from Trader Joe's, and it was fabulous. Looking forward to making it this weekend now that the weather is cold.

Thank you!

I love corn chowder. Those I've had have usually had crabmeat in them. The chorizo and spices are a great addition. Truthfully, would have to lose the plantains. I can't wait until the corn is ready here in NY.

Looks amazing Mike. I would be very tempted to try this if it weren't for the horrid (torried) heat wave we are sweating our way through right now! But maybe later this summer when we head up into the mountains!
