There's something about those little pocket in the waffles that hold all the goodness.
My waffles never last to have them frozen, though its a good idea. I'm looking for a recipe that doesn't use eggs yet gives me good waffles.:)

If you're gonna make waffles, what else would you make other than belgian? Seriously, it's all about the deep indents to hold more syrup! Looks fantastic. :)

Aghhhh! What are you doing to me - driving me mad? Tormenting me? You follow up the divine looking southern fried chicken with plump fluffy waffles.
Must....stop.....drooling......

Hi Mike,
To everyone who doesn't have a waffle maker, if you don't mind smaller square waffles, 2 at a time, I got mine at Wal-Mart for under $10. It said it made Belgian waffles. They taste great and fit right in the toaster. I mix flours and seasonings. Thanks for the reminder Mike. I haven't had any for awhile and those look scrumtious!
Have fun,
Courtney

Oh how I wish I had a belgian waffle maker! We serve them at the restaurant and everytime I get a wiff of one it's heaven! They smell sooooo good! One way we use them is to make chicken and waffles, kinda like a hot chicken sandwich with gravy , only you use 1/2 a belgian waffle. Load that waffle up with roast chicken and pour gravy on it!! I promise you'll love it!!

I've always resisted buying kitchen appliances that have only one use, but recently a friend brought her waffle maker to my kitchen so we could make some waffles for a dinner. Hoo boy, they were delicious, and I'm now rethinking my position on the whole issue!
