The Tagine looks delicious. I’ve never made it at home. Perfect opportunity for me to try it this weekend where we plan to have a potluck. Also I would love for you to send this to my ONE DISH MEAL event I am hosting. The details are at my site or the link below. http://www.archanaskitchen.com/2008/uncategorized/monthly-one-dish-event-meals/

Bird -- thanks! Having a proper tagine dish would certainly be nice. I definitely have a new appreciate for Moroccan food and have seen a lot of tempting recipes out there lately, and just like you said, really packed with flavor, but surprisingly light and healthy. Plus, I'll need something to use my lemons on!

The Tagine looks delicious. I've never made it at home, because of not having the Tagine dish, but I just went Moroccan last weekend with a couscous which was delicious. I love Middle-eastern food because it's flavourful yet light.

Hi Mike,
I actually haven't posted any recipes with preserved lemons unfortunately, and it won't happen soon either because I have been using all my good lemons to make limoncello.

Nora -- glad to and thanks/welcome to you, as well! I'll have to check out some of your preserved lemon recipes--it seems I was blissfully unaware of this ingredient before, and now I'm only beginning to appreciate how versatile they are given how much I've been reading about them. Sorry to say I don't know your friend--it was (well, still is, I suppose) a fairly large school. :-)

Hi Mike,
Hola from Sydney. Thanks for stopping by my blog and welcome to food blogging! You have lots of interesting recipes and this one is especially appealing to me since you used preserved lemons. I also don't have a tagine, it's one of those things on my wish list.

I see that you are from Cornell and in engineering. I had a few friends who went/worked there the most recent is also a post-doc engineer but in robotics, any chance that you know him... does French-Canadian Fred B ring a bell?).

Looking forward to seeing more of your culinary creations.

I don't have the cookware, but I love the cuisine. This dish looks really lovely, Mike. I haven't made a tagine in quite some time, so thanks for the delicious reminder.

Lydia -- thanks! And no cauliflower? For me, as a kid, cauliflower was on the exclusive vegetables-that-are-ok list, unlike broccoli, carrots, and other conspicuously colored items. And thanks for the tip about capers--definitely something I'll keep in mind while I wait on the lemons to finish.

Helene -- thanks! :-) I appreciate it (and enjoyed yours as well) and hope to see you again.
