Mike, I am thinking of making stuffeed shells. I tray with using the goat cheese filling and another tray with the veal/olive filling and cooking each in fire roasted tomaotes. See any problems with this idea?

Thanks for all the creativity which takes cooking/dining to a celestial place!!

Nora -- I really like using it and would definitely recommend it to anybody who is considering making ravioli (unless they have some other contraption as it seems that there are many). I'd actually received mine as a gift, but I would imagine any major cooking store ought to carry something like it.

A-ha! Now that contraption definitely makes making your own ravioli easier & less messy. I will need to find one. I don't think my new pasta maker comes with that.

holler -- sounds like a plan. Your spinach mixture sounds like it would be a great one as well

I love the sound of the mushroom and the herb ravioli. I will try whizzing it up. Last time & first time I made it, I used quark, cream cheese, spinach, pepper and nutmeg. It was good, but I should have thought of whizzing it!

Ruth -- thanks! Yup, my lesson has been learned--verify everything is in working order before getting to work. I hope the fillings work out--let me know how it goes! Not sure what pasta will be up next, but there definitely will be more of it!

Katie -- same here! I'm glad you like the banner, although sorry to say, nothing new. ;-) I've tweaked the layout just a little bit to be wider, but nothing major anywhere.

Coffee -- thanks and welcome! This was my first shot at ravioli, but I'd definitely do it again. Pierogi sounds like a fun dish to make as well. Hope you also have a good weekend

That is very nice recipe with plenty of options :)

I hate it when that happens!!!
I can't decide which of the fillings I like best... I can understand why you made all three, deciding would have been tough.
BTW, have I also been blind or is that a new (ish) banner? I find it very striking..I like it lots!

Great post Mike, Glad to know I'm not the only one who rushes in with new toys without checking first:-)

The fillings look awesome and i'll definitely be trying them out. My daughter just got her ravioli attachment for her pasta maker.

Thanks for sharing with Presto Pasta Nights. What's up next?
